IRELAND

IRELAND

Ireland is an island to the north-west of continental Europe. It is the third-largest island in Europe and the twentieth-largest island on Earth. To its east is the larger island of Great Britain, from which it is separated by the Irish Sea. The capital of Ireland is Dublin. The Republic of Ireland is a sovereign state and occupies 83% of the island. Its capital and largest city is Dublin. Ireland is famous for music of course. There's traditional Irish music of course and Celtic ballad of course.


LANGUAGE
Irish Gaelic is recognised as the first official language of the Republic of Ireland. The other official language, which is more commonly used, is English.

RELIGION
The predominant religion in the Republic of Ireland is Christianity, with the largest church being the Catholic Church. The Constitution of Ireland says that the state may not endorse any particular religion and guarantees freedom of religion.

CURRENCY
In the Republic of Ireland, the official currency is the euro. One euro consists of 100 cent. Bank ATMs are the easiest way to get cash, and the exchange rates are among the best. 


FOOD
Irish food is known for the quality and freshness of its ingredients. Most cooking is done without herbs or spices, except for salt and pepper. Foods are usually served without sauce or gravy. The staples of the Irish diet have traditionally been potatoes, grains and dairy products.

HOW TO REACH
Dublin is connected to most of the major cities in US, UK, Canada, Continental Europe and Middle East. There are also domestic airports in Donegal, Galway, Sligo, Kerry and Waterford. The two major airlines that operate in Ireland are Ryanair and Aer Lingus.

WALES

WALES

Wales is a generally mountainous country on the western side of central southern Great Britain. The capital of Wales is Cardiff. It is about 170 miles (270 km) north–south. The highest mountains in Wales are in Snowdonia (Eryri).
Wales famous for its rugged coastline, mountainous National Parks and not forgetting the Celtic Welsh language. It's a pretty cool country to live in or to visit. Firstly, not only does it have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the Welsh people are known as one of the friendliest.

LANGUAGE
Welsh originates from the Celtic language spoken by the ancient Britons. Before the Roman invasion Celtic languages were spoken across Europe as far as Turkey. 

CULTURE
Wales is a country in Great Britain that has a distinctive culture, including its own language, customs, politics, holidays and music. Wales is primarily represented by the symbol of the red Welsh Dragon, but other national emblems include the leek and the daffodil.

RELIGION
Christianity is the largest religion in Wales. The Welsh are generally quite strict about religious observance. Wales also has small numbers of Jews, Muslims.

CURRENCY
Wales is one of the countries that make up the United Kingdom. It is also part of Great Britain. As such it uses the official currency of this country, which is the British pound, sometimes referred to as the pound sterling.

FOOD
Dishes such as cawl,Welsh rarebit, laverbread, Welsh cakes, bara brith (literally "fruit bread") or the Glamorgan sausage have all been regarded as symbols of Welsh food.Traditionally cawl would be eaten with a "specially-carved wooden spoon" and eaten from a wooden bowl.

Scotland is one of the four countries that make up the United Kingdom. Scotland was once an independent country, but is now in a union with England, Wales and Northern Ireland, which is called the United Kingdom and occupies the northern third of Great Britain. Scotland's mainland shares a border with England to the south. It is home to almost 800 small islands, including the northern isles of Shetland and Orkney, the Hebrides, Arran and Skye.

FOOD
In Scotland, rice was a luxury food. It was imported from southern Europe. In Scotland, the general diet largely consisted of game, some domesticated meat, oatcakes (made from oats and barley), seafood and seaweed.

ENGLAND

England is the largest part of the island of Great Britain, and it is also the largest constituent country of the United Kingdom. London is the capital of England. Scotland and Wales are also part of Great Britain/UK, Scotland to the north and Wales to the west. To the east and south, and part of the west, England is bordered by sea.
England is famous for many things - David Beckham, Fish and Chips, Big Ben, Red Buses, black cabs, Oasis, Blur, the Beatles, London and tea. England is famous for its long history & Royal Family. England is famous for its Castles and Historic houses. 

LANGUAGE
The official language of the United Kingdom is English.English is one of the most important languages in the world. There are 104 countries where English is spoken as the first language.
The word England and English originated from the Old English word Engla-land, literally meaning “the land of the Angles”.

RELIGION
The main religion in Britain is Christianity. Most Christians belong to the Church of England or the Church of Scotland. These are Protestant Churches. There are also many Roman Catholics.

The official currency of the United Kingdom(England) is thepound sterling, known as the pound (£). Each pound is divided into 100 pence (100p = £1).

FOOD
